The Topgolf Networking Experience

After a full day of deep-diving into integration and intelligent automation, it’s time to close your laptops, grab a drink, and connect with your fellow practitioners.

Following the Middleware Mash-Up sessions, we will be taking over Topgolf for an evening of food, drinks, and friendly competition.

If you have never been to Topgolf, don’t worry! You absolutely do not need to be a golfer to have a great time. Think of it less like a quiet, traditional golf course and more like a high-tech bowling alley. It is a fun, energetic environment designed specifically for socializing and having a good time.

Here is what you can expect during our networking event:

🤝 The Ultimate Networking Lounge (Your “Bay”)
Instead of awkwardly standing around a quiet conference hall, your group will hang out in a designated “bay.” Think of this as your private, climate-controlled lounge. Each bay features comfortable seating, a table, and HDTVs, making it the perfect low-pressure environment to swap ideas, talk shop, or just unwind with your peers.

🎯 The Game
When you’re ready to play, you will step up to the edge of your bay and hit golf balls out into a massive field filled with giant, colorful targets. In true tech fashion, every golf ball has a microchip inside it. The game automatically tracks your distance and scores your points on the TV screen in your bay. There are plenty of casual, easy games to choose from, even if your only goal is just to hit the ball forward!

🍔 Food, Drinks, and Zero-Friction Fun
You don’t have to pause the conversation to grab a bite. Topgolf features a fantastic restaurant and full bar, and food and drinks will be delivered right to our bays while we network and play.

Do I need to be good at golf?
Heck no! Topgolf is designed for everyone. Whether you are a scratch golfer or have never picked up a club in your life, you will have a blast. It’s all about the experience and the connections.

Do I need to bring my own golf clubs?
Nope! Topgolf provides a wide variety of clubs in every bay completely free of charge. They have clubs for men, women, left-handers, and right-handers.

Is there a dress code?
There is no formal golf dress code here. Whatever you wear to the Middleware Mash-Up sessions during the day is perfectly fine for Topgolf in the evening!

What if it rains?
Nothing stops a good time. The hitting bays are completely covered and feature fans in the summer and heaters in the winter, so we can play rain or shine.
